By placing an order with Newcastle Banners, you agree to the terms outlined below. These conditions are designed to ensure transparency, protect your rights, and clarify our responsibilities as your printing partner.
1. Accepted File Formats
We accept artwork in the following formats: PDF, AI, PSD, PNG, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, and CDR. All files must be submitted at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI for best results.
To avoid trimming errors or design cutoff, please include a 2-inch bleed on all edges.
2. Artwork & Proofing Process
Once your files are received:

We’ll convert them to a print-ready format and run a resolution check

We do not support Pantone colour profiles — all artwork is converted to CMYK, which may result in slight colour shifts

If no major issues are found, we’ll proceed with printing after confirming layout proof

You will receive a digital layout preview for approval. This is your chance to confirm spelling, colours, alignment, and sizing
Approvals submitted after 1:00 PM (cut-off) will be processed the following working day. Delayed approvals will impact turnaround times.
Please note: Colour variations within 10–15% are considered standard due to screen and printer calibration differences.
3. Print Quality & Production Standards
Our banners are printed using large-format digital printers, designed for clear visibility from two metres or more. These are not intended for photo-quality resolution.
Size Tolerance: Minor variations of up to 2-5 cm may occur due to material stretch and finishing techniques.
Banner Construction Guidelines:

Banners under 10 feet are typically produced as a single sheet

Larger sizes may include professionally joined seams, aligned with your artwork

Banners under 60 square feet may incur a hemming charge
4. Delivery & Packaging
Production begins once artwork is approved, not when payment is made. Standard dispatch is within 5–6 working days of final artwork confirmation.
Packaging Details:

Items larger than 110 cm x 110 cm may be folded for shipping, which can cause minor creasing or discolouration. These are not considered product faults.

If you’d prefer your banner shipped rolled, please select the “Rolled on Tube” option during checkout. (This may add 1 working day to delivery time and may incur a surcharge.)

5. Express Services & Cut-Off Times
Need it faster? We offer same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, and 72-hour turnaround services, depending on the complexity of your order.

Orders must be finalised and approved before 1:00 PM to qualify

Approvals submitted after the cut-off may require a 50% express surcharge if next-day delivery or same-day collection is still required
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products, returns are only accepted under specific conditions:
Returns Accepted For:

Significant print defects (excluding acceptable colour tolerance)

Incorrect dimensions not matching your approved proof
Evidence Required:

Email support@newcastlebanners.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery

Include your order number and photos taken from at least 2 metres away

Without photo evidence, we cannot process a return
Returns Not Accepted For:

Products reported beyond the 24-hour window

Items with artwork errors approved by the customer

Delays caused by couriers

Minor colour differences or subjective dissatisfaction

Custom banners with no production fault
If your package arrives visibly damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Accepting a damaged parcel may void your claim.
If an order missed your deadline due to our production delay, you may refuse delivery and request assistance. Courier delays are not refundable.
Return Shipping: If approved, return postage is your responsibility. We only refund outbound shipping if the fault is ours.
7. Fraud Prevention & Verification
To protect against false claims:

All orders are photographed and weighed before leaving our workshop

False refund requests or chargebacks may result in legal action, and we reserve the right to pursue all costs incurred
8. Design Ownership & Usage
All custom artwork and layouts created by Newcastle Banners remain our intellectual property, unless agreed otherwise.
We reserve the right to display customer-approved designs in marketing content, including our website and social platforms. If a refund is issued after a design has been approved, a 50% design fee will be deducted from the total.
9. Payment Disputes & Limit of Liability
Our total liability is limited to the value of your order.
In case of a dispute filed via PayPal, your card issuer, or any payment platform, their final decision is binding and cannot be challenged through other channels. We will provide all supporting documentation in response.

Pricing Policy:
Prices are subject to change at any time. Unpaid orders may be cancelled or reissued with updated pricing.
11. Use of Phone Numbers & Consent for WhatsApp / SMS
By providing your phone number, you give consent to receive order updates, delivery notifications, or limited-time offers via SMS or WhatsApp.
We will never send spam or pass your number to third parties. You can opt out of messages at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting us directly.
